Above is a copy of the front and back covers for my novel. Just a few more blurbs to add and it is done. It is exciting to see the project come together. Publishing a novel is a project that entails many parts. If any would-be writers think they're going to send a manuscript to an agent who will sell it to a major publisher and their job is done, they're living in a fools paradise. There are so many details to get right after the novel is completed. In fact, a whole industry has arisen to sell how-to-do-it books to people who have their novel published. There are books on how to use Facebook, how to sell it on Amazon, how to use twitter, and more topics than you can think of. During the gold rush in California in the middle of the 19th century, most prospectors went bust. The people who made money were the ones who sold them their supplies.
